Not bad for a first attempt at capturing the moon!!
The last photograph is just a little playfulness with photoshop and hyperreality.
Hope you like,

Back in September we had such good weather and a beautiful massive bright moon illuminating over the Irish landscape at nightfall. So i grabbed my camera to see could i master the low light, the massive zoom and focusing that night photography demands. I adore photographs of sunsets, sunrises, varying colours in the sky but I never thought I could get close enough to the moon to get a clear shot with my Canon 60D and a 55 to 250 zoom lens. However, I did manage to get a couple of nice shots of it after a lot of playing with the ISO etc and a rather shifty travel tripod (which I thought was a good idea at the time of purchasing because its so light). Anyway I was quite chuffed with myself and the clarity I did achieve even if there is a lot of noise on zooming in.

This is the bespoke wedding album I created and ordered for John and Rose. It is a square 29.5cmx29.5cm book with silk feel padded cover, 260gsm paper and clamshell presentation box. The idea here was to create a one photograph per page story book that mixes styles, sizes and colours and black and white photographs so that the album is new and interesting with every page turn.
Heres just a few examples of the different layouts with the album. The photographs of the album don't really do it justice but I hope you like the idea. -R-xxx .....................................(See More below)..................................... photo credits; www.pinterest.com 1) I did my second wedding on August 14th and I could see the improvement in my photographs from my first wedding straight away. Result!!! 2) I went to Spain for a week and took extravagant wedding reception photographs on the beach on the 24th of August. Third wedding. Tick! 3) I'm currently editing both of those while working full time. Dream power!!! 4) I just got canceled for my fourth wedding in January for a more experienced photographer. Life lessons!! And ddddd'thats all folk!!! xxx-R-xxx I have really worked my backside off for the last couple of months at an extremely hard job. I've arrived home in tears, fallen asleep in my uniform with tiredness and aced with back, hip and leg pain but finally I have purchased my very own Apple iMac 21.5" desktop, which is something I only dreamed of until now. I am really so blessed and delighted to finally have the best equipment to work to a standard i hope to achieve in my photography.
There is always a silver lining. _R_ xxx I am so crazy excited for my very first wedding this day next month. I cant wait to share in a really special day for a couple who are totally in love. Plus hopefully we will have lots of fun capturing their moments!!!!
_R_xxx Photo credits; www.jasminestarblog.com As maid of honour I did not have a lot of time to take as much photographs as I would have liked but here's just some of the memories I did capture on my sister Natasha, and my brother-in-laws Johns' wedding day!!! It was a perfectly calm morning in our household on the fresh January morning my sister got hitched!! An amazing make-up artist, hair stylist and hilarious photographer put us all at ease and in no time we were emotionally walking up the aisle to Christina Perri "A Thousand Years" from the most amazing wedding singer ever!!

I am very proud today!!! -R- xxx The worst day of summer with gale force wind and downpours of rain that I text Bridget to see if she still wanted to go ahead with the shoot. Her response was "Yes! Absolutely!" Bridget reckoned the weather was going to clear up, and boy was she right. By the time we reached Crover House Hotel the sun was shining and fun was about to be had...................................(see more)..........................................

So I have sooooooo much to talk about but I thought I would start with a quick note just to mention my new Facebook page, a dedicated place for my photography and spreading the word about what I can do in the hope that by word of mouth maybe I can furture my career. Anyways, its a work in progress, but progress is so important all the same. Much Love. -R- xxx So back in May I photographed the Communion day of one very special little lady, Shauni McCullagh. I was asked by her yummy mummy Samantha a few months earlier and I was really excited to be a part of Shaunis day. We began the day early as I pledged my help in setting up the venue with balloons and banners and well my mind went into overdrive. I brought my whiteboard for the sweet counter and some random accessories for the kids to play dress up with when the bouncing castle got tiring. Unsurprisingly Shauni was a vision in her princess style communion dress. It was certainly the nicest communion dress I have ever seen with supercute cap sleeves, subtle beading, a beautiful kick skirt, and buttons and bows on the back. I had dress envy. And do not get me started on her amazing golden hair and perfect teeth. The kids going to go far is all I am saying. So after a lovely communion mass and a few family photographs it was time for Shauni to change into something more comfortable for jumping around a bouncing castle and general fun time. Shauni had a super fabulous day with lots of yummy food at the barbeque, side-splitting giggles on the bouncing castle, colourful handfuls of sweets from the sweet counter and clouds of candy floss from Shaunis' very own pink candy floss maker. Not to mention a sing-a-long with the music, dress up fashion show and a truly special Barbie Cake. I have to say I took hundreds of photographs throughout the day, and I have to also say I was truly happy with about 80% of them. Unfortunately due to an upload, saving and a very tired mind error I managed to lose about a quater of them. The error was a mistake that I would never have made, and the fact that I did do it made me feel sick. The images I lost were some of the best I had and I think I cried for two days. However, I learnt a valuable lesson, and picked myself up and edited the images I did have. In the end, I was very happy with my photographs and what the day thought me. Trial and Triumph! -R-xxx ...................................(See More Images).......................................
